All the size and beauty of a BIG Warmblood without the attitude or "big horse" transporting issues!
If you want an impressive looking all rounder who thrives on pleasing his person and is easy and fuss free to take out and about look no further! "Jamie" is relatively new to Jura but has all the attributes we select and train our babies to grow into. He is well known and well loved by all that have crossed his path - this is largely due to his adorable and playful nature. He will be the first one to call to me when he sees me and canters to the gate and like all our other Jura babies - sticks his head over the gate to be haltered. He just loves to be bought in for playtime and watch out because he will turn an empty bucket into a toy to throw - he is a very happy playful chap!
Previously registered with ESNZ with numerous Level 1 and 2 Dressage Points (from limited outings) and training level 3 movements now and will be out competing at this level this season.
Jamie would suit an adult rider looking for a drama free, well trained forever horse, he is a large horse who is established and knows his job. He was started slowly and correctly, trained extensively but not campaigned heavily so it would not be unreasonable to expect to be riding him well into his 20's. He is a pleasure to handle in every way respectful, entirely loveable and stunning to look at. He has been ridden by beginners and experienced riders alike - and will adapt to the level of the rider. Although if you are less experienced rider you would get best results supported by a good trainer/coach to help you achieve what this horse is capable of and unlocking his extensive schooling. He genuinely wants to look after his rider and this is proven by his adaptability depending on the rider, for a less experienced rider he will be careful and slow - for a more experienced rider he is quite happy to hot himself up if asked to do so.
He can take you safely into the competition ring. A great horse for someone who wants to enjoy competing on a stress free mount, he floats easily and ties up easily and happily with minimal fuss when out. If you want something that is going to be win - either in a dressage series, or to bring the ribbons home in a showing/hunter class you are sure to do it on this guy - every time he has been out he has been placed in every class - always a pleasure to come home with a neck full of ribbons!
He could be a nice ladies hunter - especially if sitting hill top sipping whiskey from a flask is more your thing than galloping around like a lunatic! He is a happy hacker - either with others or on his own...... a very versatile horse that I will not part willingly with!
This guy while big floats happily and trucks easily. He settles quickly in new environments and thoroughly enjoys getting out and about. He is an exceptionally good doer, and can be left unshod (as long as appropriate care is taken of his feet of course!) and he can be left for weeks without work and you can hop on and start where you left off fuss free!
Expressions of Interest welcome! POA.

Jamie is always first at the gate!
